Dr. Simon Davies is an internationally respected nephrologist and a leading authority in peritoneal dialysis and home-based kidney therapies. He serves as Emeritus Professor of Nephrology and Dialysis Medicine at Keele University’s School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
A former President of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Dr. Davies has played a pivotal role in shaping global standards for peritoneal dialysis practice. With an academic background that uniquely bridges science and the humanities, his career reflects both clinical rigor and thoughtful leadership in advancing dialysis care.
His research and clinical work have focused on optimizing PD prescription, fluid management, and individualized therapy to improve patient outcomes.
